19th-Century Inlaid Table in the Boulle Type
We present you a table from the 2nd half of the 19th century in the Boulle type, covered with
an elaborate brass inlay that refers to the 16th-century
Baroque Boulle marquetry.
This wall piece of furniture is in the console type, with a folding top
supported by extended rear legs, forms a card table.
The splendor is added by the embossed brass moldings on the edges of the top and on the legs,
and by the appliqués on the feet and knees.
The inner side of the top has been lined with new baize.
This card table has undergone professional renovation and is finished in black French polish.
It presents itself exquisitely and astonishingly.
