Monumental Console Table with Mirror, Circa 1835

We present you a massive console table, circa 1835, from the period of the regency of

Maria Christina of the Two Sicilies (1806-1878).

The whole is supported on volute pedestals,

which are placed on a wooden platform with a socle drawer.

This piece of furniture is topped with a white marble board.

Under the top, there is a wide drawer with a convex front.

The tilting mirror is in a square frame,

and is fixed between two columns which support a straight cornice.

Furthermore, the smooth wooden elements have been enriched

with polychromed golden parts. 

Presented console table has not undergone renovation. It is in good condition.

There are some chips on the golden elements and cracks on the veneer.

 the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in

vintage and antique items.
