Oriental Cabinet Inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl, Turn of the 19th and 20th Centuries
An antique piece of furniture from around 1900, likely made in China for the European market. The cabinet consists of a base with legs characteristic of Eastern furniture and an upper section with blind doors. A single door on the side of the piece provides access to the interior. The entire surface is richly inlaid with mother-of-pearl.
The cabinet is in good condition, with some missing mother-of-pearl inlays in a few places. The wood surface exhibits color variations, ranging from dark to light brown. The panel in the blind doors is slightly warped and separating from the frame. There are no internal shelves.
