French Walnut Sofa in the Baroque Revival Style, Late 19th Century

A frame-constructed piece made of walnut wood with a softly upholstered seat, backrest, and armrests. Its form refers to 18th-century furniture in the Louis XV style, but it comes from a later period—most likely the late 19th century. The front of the sofa rests on four cabriole legs connected by aprons adorned with semi-relief floral motifs. The S-shaped arm supports and the backrest frame are decorated with carvings.

The piece has not undergone restoration. Its condition is very good. The green velvet upholstery does not require replacement.
