Walnut Secretary Dresser with Marble Top, the Interwar Period (1918–1939)

A piece of furniture in the commode de toilette style, featuring a back panel with an oval mirror and a marble top with a shelf. The body of the chest includes three wide drawers and two under-the-top drawers. The back panel, featuring a mirror, is crowned with a wavy cornice and a pediment. The mirror is an old beveled crystal. The drawers are adorned with brass fittings.

The piece has been restored; however, the mirror exhibits discolorations and a network of rust marks, while the marble remains undamaged.
