Chiffonier/Dresser in Brown, Late 19th Century

A so-called "seven-day chest" with a softwood structure veneered in mahogany. The piece is two-part: the lower section consists of three drawers and a pull-out writing surface, while the upper superstructure contains four additional drawers. The drawer fronts are elegantly shaped in a wave-like form and lock with a key. Striking drawer fittings complete the look.

The furniture has been restored and finished with a shellac polish.
