Biedermeier Corner Cabinet, Circa 1870
We present you a piece of furniture made of softwood veneered with mahogany.
The whole is circa 1870.
This cabinet is to be placed in the corner. It is single-leaf; with rounded corners, a topping
board, and a cornice drawer and one under the top.
The simple form of the piece is varied only by the two pilasters that flank
the door leaf, the concave-convex front of the upper drawers,
and a carved cut in the apron section.
Presented cabinet is after renovation and finished in shellac,
in accordance with the old techniques.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in
vintage and antique items.
The Antique Beauty company issues a CERTIFICATE
OF EXHIBITOR on presented item, which confirms the authenticity,
legal origin, and the approximate date and place of the item manufacture.
