Sturdy Oak Bookcase from the 1940s

A piece of furniture made from solid oak wood, dating back to the 1940s. It stands on tall, turned legs connected at the bottom with stretchers. The two doors of the bookcase are flanked by pilasters with decorative bands and divided in the center by open shelves. The top is crowned with a profiled cornice. The door panels are upholstered with synthetic leather, fastened in the corners with two rows of domed upholstery nails arranged in a pattern, and connected by rosettes.

The bookcase is in particularly good condition, refreshed with wax.
