19th-Century Danish Cabinet
We present you this mahogany cabinet from the 2nd half of the 19th century,
with fronts veneered with pyramidal mahogany.
The piece of furniture is of the cabinet type, with four drawers in the lower section
and a double-leaf cabinet in the upper.
Everything is topped with a straight cornice,
which is more withdrawn inwards than the front and sides.
There are shelves and small drawers with beautifully
inlaid fronts inside the cabinet.
In the old days, such piece of furniture was used
for storing silver dishes and flatware.
Presented cabinet has undergone renovation. It is finished in shellac.
The nacre escutcheons are uneven.
