Mahogany Armchair in the Louis Philippe Style, Early 19th Century
A piece from the first half of the 19th century, made of mahogany wood with a softly upholstered seat and backrest. The armchair features cabriole front legs, a medallion-shaped backrest, and open sides. The wooden parts are adorned with carvings, incredibly elaborate on the crest of the backrest, the apron area, and the knees.
The armchair has undergone woodwork restoration and has been newly reupholstered in blue, beige, and white stripes.
