Antique Mahogany Armchair from the Late 19th Century
Elegant late 19th-century armchair, circa 1890, crafted from mahogany and upholstered in black leather.
The chair features a distinctive oval medallion backrest, gracefully shaped open armrests and curved front legs, giving the piece an elegant and well-balanced silhouette.
The backrest, seat and arm pads are upholstered in black leather and finished with decorative brass-tone upholstery studs. The leather displays an attractive patina and gentle signs of wear consistent with the age and character of the piece.
The wooden frame has been professionally reinforced and finished with lacquer, preserving its warm mahogany tone and highlighting the natural grain of the wood.
A refined and highly decorative armchair, suitable for use as a desk chair, occasional chair or statement piece in both traditional and contemporary interiors.
