We present to you a pair of earrings from 1870, crafted in a floral shape from 18-karat rose gold (750 hallmark), adorned with rose-cut diamonds.
The rose-cut technique involves setting diamonds on foil. This is an ancient method used to maximize the brilliance of the diamonds. It consists of placing a cone of highly polished silver foil beneath the diamond in a closed setting.
Diamonds: The earrings feature 16 diamonds with a senaille cut. Senaille is a simplified rose cut, a small fragment of a diamond often with a few polished facets. With this type of cut, it is difficult to determine the exact weight of the diamonds.
All the diamonds in these earrings have been verified by the IJGC laboratory (Antwerp, Belgium) to confirm whether they are natural or lab-grown. We guarantee that all diamonds in this piece of jewelry are 100% natural.
