Forstenberg West Germany Porcelain Service
We present you a diner-coffee service for 12 people with a signature of the Forstenberg West Germany manufactory from the 1970s/1980s.
The set includes 69 pieces that are as follows:
12 shallow plates, diameter: 25 cm;
12 deep plates, diameter: 23.5 cm;
12 dessert plates, diameter: 19.5 cm;
12 saucers, diameter: 12.5 cm;
11 cups, height: 6.5 cm;
1 tureen,
1 mixing bowl with a lid,
2 oval, shallow epergnes,
1 oval, deep epergne,
1 round epergne,
1 milk jug, 1 sugar bowl,
2 small bowls with a lid.
The porcelain is white; with embossings on the edges in the shape of interlaced fish scale and a floral pattern.
Furthermore, the whole is complemented by a wrapped floral pattern in the color of dark pink.
Presented service is in good condition. One cup and the lid of the sugar bowl are missing. The floral pattern on some of the piecesis faded – in a lighter shade than the rest.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in
vintage and antique items.
