Wooden Bookcase in the Chippendale Type
We present you this bookcase from the Interwar Period, reminiscent of the Chippendale style.
This piece of furniture is made of softwood veneered with rosewood.
The corpus is two-door, with two socle drawers. The whole is supported
on bent legs, and topped with a simple cornice made of
a profiled molding.
Furthermore, the doors are glazed, with bolections that, in the upper section,
go into pediments with volutes.
The feet are in the shape of a sphere in bird talons.
The inside of the furniture hides four shelves. Their height can be regulated
thanks to the serrated strips in the corners.
Presented piece of furniture is in very good condition.
