Walnut Table, Circa 1860

We present you this antique table made of walnut wood; with a top covered with walnut

veneer with a beautiful graining. The whole is circa 1860.

The table top is oval, of a wavy shape, with an edge finished

with a profiled molding, which is elevated above the top’s surface.

There is a beautiful intarsia in the center of the table top.

Furthermore, on both sides of the table, in the apron section, there are shelves

 that were used for holding candles.

The base is placed on four legs, which are composed of double

 volutes connected with a cross bar with a pinnacle in the middle.

This table is sold together with a pane in the shape of the table top.

Presented piece of furniture is after a renovation; French-polished.
