20th-Century W. Staude Hannover Barometer

We present you this barometer with a thermometer in a unique wooden case made of a propeller. 

The barometers were made in a German manufactory of a certified optic, W. Stande Hannover (German). The manufactory had been opened on September 1st, 1911. During the World War II, it was bombarded and completely destroyed. Since 1948, it has restarted its production and expanded their offer with geodetic products and microscopes.  This is the period where the barometer comes from.

Since 1982, W. Staude Optician’s has been a part of the Becker + Flöge GmbH group and is still active.

Although the item has not undergone renovation, it is in incredibly good condition.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in

 the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in

vintage and antique items.
