Victorian Cabinet from the 19th Century
We present you this cabinet, circa the 2nd half of the 19th, veneered with mahogany and burl.
Its surface is covered with various intarsias.
The small, two-door main section is supported on a slightly advanced,
simple socle, and is topped with a pulpit with a cornice.
The intarsias ornamenting the door leaves, and the frames and the cornice
are complemented with brazen appliqués.
The inside is divided by drawers, and padded with a fabric in a shade of
aquamarine.
Presented article of furniture is in good condition. The veneer on the socle is cracked
in some places. Moreover, the pulpit is slightly curved, and damaged
in one place. The upholstery requires a replacement.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in the
manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in
vintage and antique items.
The Antique Beauty company issues a
CERTIFICATE OF EXHIBITOR on presented item, which
confirms the authenticity, legal origin, and the approximate date and
place of the item manufacture.
