Vertico/Linen Cabinet, Circa 1860
A piece of furniture made in wood veneered with pyramidal mahogany.
A vertico in the form of a single-leaf cabinet with a cornice drawer,
a top one, and a setting, with a narrow drawer with a wavy front,
that is in backward position compared to the furnitures’ chest.
Furthermore, the door panel is framed in a rectangular border made of profiled moldings.
The chest of presented vertico/linen cabinet has drawers with concave-convex fronts.
Moreover, the top wooden panel is profiled.
The furnitures’ corners are cut, with semi-circular moldings that end at the base,
and complemented with striking woodcarving.
The inside of this piece of furniture hides three shelves.
The furniture has undergone a professional renovation. It is finished in a high gloss French polish.
