Sewing Table in the Biedermeier Style

We present you a beautiful sewing table.

This piece of furniture, circa the 1950s, is in birchen veneer, and is stylized as

the Biedermeier furniture.

The oval top, along with the apron, are supported on a leg in the shape of a lyre,

 which is placed on a board with volute feet.

Furthermore, the raiseable top reveals the inside of the apron that is divided with

 compartments with wooden covers.

The surface of the top is ornamented with a delicate intarsia in the middle, and a darker

 line around the rim.

Presented article of furniture has undergone a renovation. It is in very good condition.
