Round Biedermeier Flowerbed/Table
We present you this small piece of furniture of a simple form, circa 1860, made of mahogany and, partially, of a less noble wood veneered with mahogany.
The table is round, with a hinged table top. The whole is supported on three high legs that end with volutes, which are placed on a triangular socle with concave sides.
There is a mirror on the inner side of the table top. The inside of the corpus in padded with a patterned fabric.
This piece of furniture can be used for many purposes. It can be both a sewing table and a flowerbed, as well as a small lady’s vanity.
Presented table is after a renovation. It is finished in Shellac.
