Rosewood Lady’s Writing Desk
A piece of furniture, circa 1920/30, of oaken framework in rosewood veneer.
The apron with adjustable desktop, supported on neat,
bentwood legs.
The sides and the front are decorated with filet stripes. The desktop is intarsiated
with a floral motif.
The upper board of this writing desk has a brass gallery.
The inside is divided with a shelf with two drawers.
At the bottom, there is a sliding compartment.
This piece of furniture is after thorough renovation, and is finished in French polish.
