Prewar, Intarsiated Small Table
A piece of furniture, circa 1930, of a simple form.
The legs narrows towards the bottom, and are connected in the middle with a removable
cross bar that is supported, on four sides, on stands.
The liftable, rectangular table top hides a spacious compartment.
The surface of the top is intarsiated with a geometrical pattern, which has been
made of diamonds of different types of wood.
Presented small table is multifunctional. Originally, it was probably used as
a sewing table, but due to its design and small size, it can serve
many purposes.
This piece of furniture is after a thorough renovation, and is finished in a French polish.
