Porcelain Vase / Chelson China
We present you this vase from the 70s/80s with a romantic character; produced in an English porcelain manufactory,
Chelson China.
The porcelain is bony, white, with the surface decorated with an imprint
with a floral motif.
The upper edge of the vase and the line at the bottom are gilded.
Height: 24 cm.
Presented china is in perfect condition, undamaged.
Chelsea porcelain -- historical overview
The Chelsea company had been founded by the RG & SL Plant brothers around 1900. And it had been operating under the name till 1912, when it changed the name to “New Chelsea.” After 1945, the new Chelsea company was founded again and modernized, but in September of 1951, the trade name was sold to the Susie Cooper Pottery Ltd. company, and the new one operated under the name of New Chelsea China Co. Ltd.
