Oval Victorian Table from the Mid. 19th Century
We present you this neat table made of walnut wood with a top covered with burl veneer.
The four baluster legs of the table are set in pairs on bipods with pinnacles that separate them.
The bipods are joint together with a cross bar in the same shape as the balusters.
The surface of the top is ornamented with a delicate intarsia, which is composed of double fillet stripes that are connected
in four places with a floral pattern.
Presented table is after a professional renovation. It is finished in Shellac.
This is an intriguing and antique article of furniture.
