Office Bookcase, Circa 1930

 AFTER RENOVATION

We present you this piece of furniture of a grand size, circa 1930, manufactured in Germany. It is made of oak wood and walnut burl. It amazes with the richness of elaborate reliefs.

 The bookcase is triple-leaf. Furthermore, the bookcase is simple, has a stepped cornice. There are beautiful carved floral patterns under it, which form the frame of the whole piece.

The central leaf of the bookcase is glazed with filleted glass – the color is neutral. The frame of this leaf is ornamented with carved moldings.

The fronts of the side leaves are veneered with walnut burl, and their central parts are decorated with two carved figures of a man and a woman.  Each segment has been separated from each other by elegant, columnar embossings, which connect with a refined, carved base.

The inside of the bookcase hides shelves, whose height can be regulated according to needs.

 The bookcase has been placed on a grand, carved base and four massive legs: the rear are straight, and the front in the form of lion paws.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in the manufacture) has been confirmed by expert in vintage and antique items.
