Oaken Desk from the Interwar Period

A solid piece of furniture made in oak and oaken veneer.

Presented desk is simple, with two deep, lockable chests

that are divided with a drawer.

The whole is covered with a desktop, and is supported on bentwood legs.

The simplicity of the form is varied with carved edge molding.

One of the chests has a row of small drawers inside. Above the chests’ doors,

 there are sliding bookrests for documents.

This desk has undergone a renovation, it has been finished in wax.

Presented piece of furniture is designed for exhibition from both front and back.

 It is ideal for an office, or a registrar’s office.
