Oaken Art Nouveau Cupboard, Circa 1900
Presented article of furniture is mostly made in oak and partially in
oaken veneer. The whole is in the shade of dark bronze.
This cupboard is in the stylistics typical for Art Nouveau,
and is dated 1900/1910.
The cupboard is composed of a two-door, slightly advanced central section
with drawers under the counter on the door line,
and two, integrated into the whole, narrow and column cabinets.
The rear wall crowns this piece of furniture with an oval, big mirror with a bevel.
The fronts of the drawers and the central door are smooth,
semicircularly profiled.
Furthermore, the fronts of the narrow cabinets are fluted and decorated, similarly to the rear wall,
with a woodcarving with a motif of apples in geometrical borders.
What also grabs attention is the metal fittings of this article of furniture
with hammerblow surface.
This cupboard has not been renovated, but it is in very good condition. The mirror has
traces in some places.
