Neo-Rococo Suite of Armchairs and Chairs

We present you this suite from the 2nd half of the 19th century, which includes three armchairs and two chairs.

Front legs are S-shaped, with a woodcarving in the upper part.

The backrests are finished with a semi-plastic carving. The armrests are finished

 with acanthus leaves, and are rolled up into scrolls.

The armchairs have upholstered seats, backrests, and armrests.

The seats are of the spring type, on webbing, and filled with sea grass.

The upholstery is probably secondary.

The whole suite is in original condition. One of the armchairs have defects in the

carving appliqué on the backrest. The upholstery of the armchairs is soiled.

Dimensions:

Armchair: Height: 104 cm; Width: 64 cm; Depth: 54 cm; Seat height: 46 cm.

Chairs: Height: 96 cm; Width: 51 cm; Depth: 45 cm; Seat height: 44 cm.
