Neo-Renaissance Cupboard Setting from the 19th c.
A piece of furniture, circa 1880/1890, made in solid oaken wood.
This setting is a remainder of the upper section of a cupboard.
Now, it is intended for hanging in the role of a cabinet.
The setting is composed of a pair of glazed doors enclosed by an arc
and embraced with two spiral columns.
Above the doors, there is a wide molding that is decorated
with a semi-plastic carving of a mascaron’s head in the central part.
The whole is finished with a profiled molding and richly carved
crest, which is inclined forwards.
Presented piece of furniture has undergone a renovation. It is ready to be put in an interior.
