Neo-Renaissance Cupboard/Buffet, Circa 1910

The furniture was made in oaken wood. Presented buffet is composed of a three-door base that is placed on spherical legs,
and a three-door setting that is supported on mascarones. The bottom of the buffet is finished with a cornice molding. The setting is closed, from the top, with a crowning molding with a crest. The front of the buffet is fragmented with fluted
columns. The panels of the doors are filled with semi-plastic floral decorations. However, what truly stands out are the middle door of the setting which are much more ornamented than other doors, with bas-relief ornamentations, depicting a scene from the hunting.

The whole is in original condition. Only small alterations have been done. The locks are secondary.

Presented buffet is a great example of the elitist style of the period, in which this piece of furniture was manufactured. The phenomenal workmanship, elaborate woodcarving, ornamentations, attention to details, and the type of wood used in manufacture prove how classy and exquisite this piece of furniture is.
