Neo-Baroque Style Commode Circa 1880-1890

This late 19th-century piece is a two-door commode with a marble top. The concave-convex shaped fronts of the doors feature a white marble top with a profiled edge. The surfaces of both the doors and sides are veneered in a herringbone pattern and adorned with a plant motif inlays. The legs, corners, central apron, and top rail are finished with applied brass embellishments. Inside, there are three shelves.

The commode is after restoration, a true rarity.
