Museum Pedestal Made of Green Onyx
We present you this antique piece of furniture with a hexagonal, onyx top that is supported
on three legs, which are joint together with cross bars with a pinnacle.
The legs are made of turned, onyx elements that are intertwined
with brass linking.
The section under the top is finished with a brass molding with a motif
of interlace. This article of furniture can be used as a table, a pedestal, or a flowerbed.
Presented pedestal in in very good condition. There are only small chips on the edge of the top.
The item comes from the Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery in Great Britain.
