Mini Biedermeier Vertico Veneered with Mahogany, 1840
An unusual cabinet in the Biedermeier style, resembling a small, single-door vertico. The piece is veneered in mahogany and finished with French polish. It is divided into two drawers: a larger one at the bottom and a narrow one at the top, with a single-door cabinet in between. The front of the cabinet door is slightly recessed in relation to the drawers and framed by two Corinthian-style columns. The interior is divided by three shelves.
The piece requires minor touch-ups to the polish but is otherwise in particularly good condition. Its small size makes it highly functional and suitable for both large and small spaces.
