“Maria” Rosenthal Set, Signature from the Years 1922-1923

We have the honor to present you this set which includes a cup, a saucer and a dessert plate. The whole was manufactured in the Rosenthal Manufactory, and has the signature from the year 1922-1923.

There is a beautiful and romantic story behind this splendid set from the “Maria” series. Philip Rosenthal dedicated it for his beloved wife -- French duchess, Maria de Beurges. 
The set is still the icon of design -- even though it was designed in 1914, it magnetizes with beauty till this day.
