Louis Philippe Living Room Suite

A Louis Phillipe living room suite, circa 1880, of a sofa and two chairs.

Both sofa and chairs have spring seats. The whole is filled with sea grass, and covered with a decorative, shimmering fabric in blue-steel shade with a subtle, pale pink flower pattern.

The wooden elements of the suite are fluted. The front legs of the furniture are of the cabriole shape. The backrests are in the form of medallions.
