Louis Philippe Lady's Secretary Desk
We present you an elaborately carved 19th-century lady’s secretary desk, which is closed from the front with a wavy lid. The whole is supported on cabriole legs decorated with floral carved patterns. The inside hides four drawers and a compartment which can be locked with a key. Furthermore, the inner side of the lid is lined with a fabric and finished with a decorative tape.
This secretary desk is made of coniferous wood veneered with walnut and solid walnut wood.
Presented piece of furniture has undergone thorough renovation and is finished in shellac. All the locks are functional.
