Louis Philippe Chairs, Circa 1860

We present you these two wooden chairs with upholstered seats and backrests.

The fronts legs are bent and end with brass circles.

The armchairs’ frames are ornamented with fluting and a semi-plastic, decorative

woodcarving at the bottom of seats, and in the top of the backrests.

The upholstery is of a satin type, with a light gloss,

 and with a floral pattern.

The armchairs have not undergone renovation. They are in very good condition. The upholstery

 is probably secondary.

Slight traces of times only add charm to the whole.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in 

 the manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in 

 vintage and antique items.
