Intarsiated Showcase from the 2nd Half of the 20th century

A highly decorative showcase from the 2nd half of the 20th century, in the style of the 18th-century

Dutch furniture.

The furniture’s form is massive, ornamented with a rich intarsia with naturalistic floral patterns.

The showcase is composed of a base with a pair of door in a concave-convex shape and blank

drawers, and strikingly finished top with its glazed door and sides.

In the inside of the upper segment of the furniture, there are three glass shelves.

The whole is supported on huge legs in the shape of animal paws, which extend beyond the surface of the furniture.

Rich crest, decorative and brass handles on the door, and escutcheons give

the whole uncommon splendor.

The furniture was manufactured by the Panthel furniture making company.

The showcase dimensions:

Height: 240.5 cm; width: 130 cm: depth: 58 cm.
