French, Oaken Bookcase, Circa 1830
Presented furniture is entirely made in solid oaken wood.
Moreover, it is two-door, with a wide drawer at the base.
The door is flanked by two spiral columns that support
a prominent cornice, which is in the same shape as the socle.
The door leaves are glazed in three-quarters of their height,
and are in a border made of molding that is ornamented with a relief.
The panels in the lower section of the door, along with the drawer front
and the molding under the cornice, have an applicable, semi-plastic decoration.
The inside of the furniture is divided with four shelves, which heights
can be regulated thanks to the serrated slides in the corners.
This bookcase is in original condition, hasn’t undergone a renovation.
However, it is in very good condition that makes the whole ready to be put into an interior.
