Flemish Holiday – 18th-Century Print
We present you this large print based on the painting of the Flemish painter, David Teniers (1610-1690) depicting genre scenes during the national holiday.
The template was made by French engraver, Jacques-Philippe Le Bas (1707 - 1783).
Print no. 56.
An inscription at the bottom informs us that this piece of art was dedicated to
Count Daufine Marechal, a general of the royal army.
The print is closed in a Neo-Rococo frame with glass from a later period.
Presented item is in very good condition. There are some chips and cracks on the frame.
THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in
