Flemish Holiday – 18th-Century Print

We present you this large print based on the painting of the Flemish painter, David Teniers (1610-1690) depicting genre scenes during the national holiday.

The template was made by French engraver, Jacques-Philippe Le Bas (1707 - 1783).

Print no. 56.

An inscription at the bottom informs us that this piece of art was dedicated to

Count Daufine Marechal, a general of the royal army.

The print is closed in a Neo-Rococo frame with glass from a later period.

Presented item is in very good condition. There are some chips and cracks on the frame.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in

the print) has been confirmed by an expert in

vintage and antique items.

The Antique Beauty company issues a

CERTIFICATE OF EXHIBITOR on presented item, which confirms

the authenticity, legal origin, and the approximate date and

place of the item print.
