English Lady's Secretary Desk from the 19th Century
We present you this piece of furniture from the 2nd half of the 19th century of a delicate form.
At the bottom of the corpus, there are three niches closed with an arch
and small drawers above them.
The upper section of the secretary is closed with an inclined top fixed on hinges,
which is lined with baize inside.
The whole is finished with a gallery which frames the desktop on three sides.
The inside hides numerous shelfs and compartments,
a fluted recess for writing accessories and two ink pots.
Furthermore, the front is decorated with beautiful inlays.
Presented secretary desk has undergone renovation. It is finished in shellac.
The baize is new.
