Dutch Wall Clock in the Staarta Type

We present you this wall clock in an oak case with an enameled face.

The whole was manufactured

before 1939 and resembles 19th-century Staarta clocks.

The ring with hours is painted on the background a marine motif.

Above the ring, there are phases of moon.

The semi-circular crest is decorated with brass finials

in the shape of figurines of Atlas and angels blowing the trumpets.

The mechanism is functional, with a spring power source.

The case is in perfect condition.

Only the paint on the round dial is worn in some places.

The clock strikes full hours and halves.
