AFTER RENOVATION

We are pleased to invite you to see one of the most impressive desks/writing desks, manufactured circa 1870 in Northern Europe. This piece of furniture is made in walnut, and is composed of a capacious dresser in the lower part and ornamented desk top with a setting in the upper part.

The lower part is composed of double leaf door, lockable with a key, behind which two capacious and deep shelves are hidden.

A desk top with the setting supported by circular supports, finished with goblet-like pinnacles has been placed on top of the dresser.  

The corners of the desk top are ornamented with fillets and finished with golden door knockers.

The whole furniture is supported on four legs: the rear are massive and the front, in the shape of flattened sphere.

THE DESK HAS UNDERGONE FULL RESTORATION.

The piece of furniture, for its age, is preserved in very good condition, with some visible signs of careful use. We hope that the value of this piece of furniture will be appreciated by many customers.
