Cupboard Sideboard from the Interwar Period
A sideboard circa 1935, made in oak and softwood
with oaken burl.
Furthermore, the whole is two-door and supported on prominent legs in the shape of paws.
The upper section of this piece of furniture has a marble top, which concave-convex shape is identical
to the drawers’ fronts.
A wide molding in the central part of the furniture, which separates the fronts.
Both the door and the molding are decorated with semi-plastic and ornamental carving.
The inside is divided with a single shelf, and hides two drawers under the top.
Presented sideboard has undergone renovation. Moreover, it has been finished in wax. A corner in the rear part of the
marble board is slightly damaged.
