Commode with a Hunting Motif
We present you this commode made of solid oak wood, circa the turn of the 19th
and 20th centuries.
This is a cabinet, two-door piece of furniture, with a cornice that is slightly advanced comparing to the front,
made of profiled moldings.
The doors are flanked by spiral columns.
Furthermore, the door panels are ornamented with semi-plastic representations of birds
in oval frames.
The top is finished with a profiled edge with a relief pattern.
Moreover, under the top, there are two drawers with fronts decorated with woodcarving.
This piece of furniture has undergone a renovation. It has been finished in wax.
