Commode/Cabinet in the Napoleon III Style

We present you this piece of furniture, circa 1850, painted black, with intarsias

 made of a light type of wood.

This commode is three-door, with a solid central door,

 and glazed corners in the semi-circular shape.

The frame of the central door panel and the pilasters embracing it

 with brass appliqués.

The inside of the commode/cabinet, along with the walls, is padded with navy blue velvet.

Presented article of furniture is after a renovation. The inside has not been replaced. The velvet shows signs

 of wear.

THE AUTHENTICITY (period of origin, type of material used in the

 manufacture) has been confirmed by an expert in

 vintage and antique items.
