Carved Indonesian Coffret

We present you a big coffret in the shape of a book.

 It is from before the year 1939.

This item is made of exotic wood, and the outer surface is covered with relief decoration.

Its intended use is to store writing instruments.

Inside, there is a removable insert with compartments, together with a paper knife.

Presented coffret is in very good condition. The lock is broken and there is no key.
