Carved Cabinet/Sideboard, Circa 1880
We present you this oak piece of furniture, circa 1880, in the Eclectic style.
The corpus of this cabinet is two-door; with two drawers under the top,
which are finished with a profiled socle cornice. The whole is supported on legs
in the shape of a flattened sphere.
Furthermore, the upper section of the cabinet is topped with a wall with a gallery.
The doors are flanked by fluted columns. The door panels
are covered with a semi-plastic ornament.
In addition, the fronts of the drawers are convex, decorated with a carved pattern.
The inside of one of the drawers hides compartments for cutlery, which are padded with a green fabric.
Presented piece of furniture is in very good condition; has undergone a renovation.
However, there are openings for cables cut in one of the rear walls.
