Biedermeier Living Room Suite

We present you this suite from the early 20th century in birchen burl.

The suite includes a table, two armchairs, and two chairs.

The table is of the SOFA TABLE type. It has a rectangular top that is supported on a corpus

in the form of a column. The column is placed on a board that ends with a quadruped.

The table top with two folding flaps. On two sides of the apron,

 there are blank drawers with fronts decorated with an intarsia.

The rails of the armchairs end with volutes.

The backrests of the armchairs and chairs in the shape of a pelta with intarsias.

Table: Height: 75 cm; Table top: 82 x 65.5 cm; After extension: 120 x 65.6 cm.

Armchairs: Height: 91 cm; Width: 62 cm; Depth: 52 cm; Seat height: 51 cm.

Chairs: Height: 90.5 cm; Width: 45 cm; Depth: 43 cm; Seat height: 49 cm.

Presented suite is after a renovation, finished in French polish. The seats are covered with

a raw fabric, and are prepared for covering

 with a proper material, according to customer’s wishes. (The customer covers the cost of the fabric.)

This elegant set is well suited both as a separate dining room suite and as a small dining room,

as well as a table and additional seats to a couch.
