Art Nouveau Oaken Cupboard, Circa 1910
We present you this piece of article made of solid oaken wood, and oaken burl.
The cupboard is composed of three sections that are placed on a joint, advanced cornice.
The central section is in the form of a one-door cupboard with a drawer at the door axis, and a small shelf above the countertop.
The outer sections are in the shape of narrow, high posts,
which end with a slightly prominent molding with an astragal.
Furthermore, the rear board of the cupboard has an oval, transverse mirror,
and it is crowned with a wooden, semi-plastic appliqué.
All the door leaves are profiled semi-circularly.
The panel of the central doors is ornamented with a woodcarving,
whereas the outer sides of the doors are smooth.
Moreover, there is an oval, glazed hole with beveled glass
and applied bolections in the upper part.
This cupboard has undergone a renovation; has been finished in wax.
It presents itself exquisitely and astonishingly.
